Very thorough in what they do. The final bill was even lower than the estimate. Thanks!

Michael's recently serviced our 60,000 mile 2012 Hyundai Tucson. Great job, which is why we took our 130,000 mile, 2005 Mazda MPV van in for more critical work. First, they replaced the water pump. They like to use factory parts whenever possible, and recognized brands when factory items are not available. Sounds good, but factory parts can be more expensive. Not so at Michaels. They charged me the online Mazda parts cost, $111, for the water pump, versus the local dealer's estimate of $170. Works for me! Next, we had them replace the front lower suspension control arms. I've done this myself in the past, but they did it quicker and better, and while not an inexpensive task, we were happy with the cost. Guess what? It drives a lot better! At the same time we had all of the brakes and rotors replaced. Again, great job and a fair price for the quality of their work! But, the real nature of Michael's approach to their work was in their creativeness regarding the MPV's engine oil leaks. The dealer took one look and estimated a "SOP" (standard operating procedure) fix for about $2,600. Ouch. Michael's team (including Michael and Josh) looked for a more realistic fix by putting dye in the oil and identifying where the leaks were actually coming from. Turns out it was more seepage than actual leaks, but the oil did drip down on the exhaust pipe, thus something had to be done. So, they got on-line and found a video where certain bolts were simply removed, coated with high-temp sealent, and torqued back into place. Guess what, IT WORKED! Cost? About $207. Bottom line? Our Mazda van is good to go for many thousands of miles without worries. I've done all of my own car repairs for over 60 years, but it gives me a great deal of satisfaction to pass the work on to Michael, Josh and the rest of their team. Fair, friendly, more than competitive in pricing, and creative problem solving, which is really important with today's automotive technology! GO TEAM MICHAEL!

Thank you John for the kind words. It is certainly our privilege and pleasure to serve you in the repair and maintaining of your vehicles. We look forward to future visits, not only for the business that you bring to us but also for the very enjoyable conversation.
